This is about what we have been listening lately, some mind blowing stuff that we would like to share with the rest of the world:

Asva, the project of G. Stuart Dahlquist, founding member of Burning Witch and Sunn O))), have just released their third album, Presences Of Absences, through Important Records (more about them below) and its one of the most engaging albums we have listened so far this year. It stands there where Arvo Part, Codeine and heavy metal meet, sublime and maybe subliminal in all senses, and even more important, emotive as nothing you will hear, pure naked emotions. This is magic, dark magic at its best, so please get into the tunnel and let it go.

Lumpen Nobleman is one of those rare artifacts that can set you on fire literaly while caressing you, a kraut cinematic odyssey that is inpiring and inspired by a strange and beautiful spirit. Just released is Grusha, an album published by Extra Normal, label where we suspect Lumpen Nobleman owns most of the shares, and a real botanic garden where you will be able to listen amazing mixes where taste is superb: Amon Duul II, Dinosaur L, Boredoms, Haniwa Chan and lots of rare and wonderful tracks. Just check him, you will go back for more every single day. Buy the album here.

Grusha by Lumpen Nobleman

If what you want is house music that for once has something real to say then your man is Heatsick. Here we copy from his blog: "HEATSICK is the solo moniker of Berlin-based performer/musician Steven Warwick, also known as one half of the duo Birds of Delay. Heatsick uses various instruments including voice, keyboard and percussion to create saturated washes of tone, floating and disintegrating entropic loops, while also using deliberately broken continuity as a playful, live conceptual gesture. The project is focused on repetition as a means of creating abstraction, improvising with organic variations of a theme, yet embracing the artificial to facilitate a psychedelic mindshift. The music references a palette of sources from Musique Concrete and Psychedelia, through to the early Chicago House mix tapes, creating a unique and compelling sound." With Intersex  released by Pan, we think Heatsick is gonna be around for a long long time. And by the way, check Pan, because every release comes from a different planet, just how we like it: André Vida, John Wiese, James Hoff...

And last but not least, we would like to go back to Eliane Radigue, that eternal synthesiser and feedback woman, a real electronic guru who we adore. And why now? Because Important Records, that label with no possible end, where we have Eleh, James Blackshaw, Francisco López, Master Musicians Of Bukkake and hundreds more (in fact they just had their 300 release = 10 years of music that started with a 7" by Daniel Johnston) has released some incredible works by her: Transamorem - Transmortem, Triptych, Vice Versa, etc... All of them mind altering journeys.
